Roster Includes 13 Forwards, 8 Defensemen, and 2 Goaltenders

The Texas Stars, the American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the NHL's Dallas Stars, announced their opening night roster on Thursday.

The roster includes 13 forwards, 8 defensemen, and 2 goaltenders.

Forwards include: Riley Damiani, Fredrik Karlstrom, Ty Dellandrea, Marian Studenic, Matej Blumel, Thomas Harley, Riley Barber, Michael Mersch, Rhett Gardner, Josh Melnick, Nicholas Caamano, Adam Mascherin, and Matej Stransky.

Defensemen include: Thomas Harley, Dawson Barteaux, Artem Grushnikov, Ben Gleason, Reece Scarlett, Jacob Gleason, and Jerad Rosburg.

Goaltenders include: Jake Oettinger and Landon Bow.

The Texas Stars will begin their season on Friday, October 14, against the Iowa Wild at H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
