Flughafen Hamburg Gewinnt Ein Ziel Und Verliert Ein Ziel

Flughafen Hamburg gewinnt ein Ziel – und verliert ein Ziel

Hamburg Airport welcomes a new destination, but also bids farewell to another

Hamburg Airport (HAM) is expanding its route network with the addition of a new destination, while also losing a connection to another city.

Starting on March 28, 2023, Ryanair will launch a new twice-weekly service between Hamburg and Pristina, the capital of Kosovo. The flights will depart from Hamburg on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 10:30 am, and return from Pristina at 1:15 pm. Tickets are now on sale, with fares starting from €39.99 one-way.

The new route will provide a much-needed connection between Hamburg and Kosovo, which is home to a large Albanian community. It will also make it easier for tourists to visit Pristina, which is a vibrant and historic city with a rich cultural heritage.

However, Hamburg Airport is also losing a connection to another city as Eurowings has announced that it will be discontinuing its service between Hamburg and Cologne/Bonn from March 26, 2023. The last flight on this route will depart from Hamburg on March 25th.

Eurowings did not give a reason for the discontinuation, but it is likely due to the fact that the route is no longer profitable. The airline has been facing financial difficulties in recent years, and it has been forced to cut several routes.

The loss of the Cologne/Bonn route is a disappointment for Hamburg Airport, as it was a popular destination for business and leisure travelers. However, the airport is confident that the new route to Pristina will help to make up for the loss.
